The No Name Dip

The cool, tangy sour cream base gets an added zing from the zesty ranch seasoning. Smoky real bacon bits add that irresistible savory, salty, crispy component. And of course, tons of ooey-gooey shredded cheese bring it all together into one epic cheesy dip.

Ingredients

16 oz sour cream
1 cup real bacon bits or pieces
2 cups shredded cheddar or cheddar jack cheese
1 1 oz packet ranch seasoning mix

Instructions

In a large bowl, mix together the sour cream and dry ranch seasoning until well combined.
Fold in the bacon bits and shredded cheese until fully incorporated.
For best flavor, let the dip chill for 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to blend.
Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with extra bacon bits, sliced green onions or chives if desired.
Serve cold with crackers, chips, celery sticks or bagel crisps for dipping.

Notes

For ultimate creaminess, use full-fat sour cream.
Make sure to use real bacon bits or pieces, not imitation bacon.
Feel free to substitute different cheeses like pepper jack or a Mexican blend.
Double the recipe for larger gatherings as this dip gets devoured quickly!
