Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 1/4 pounds sirloin steak cut into 1-inch pieces
Salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons butter
8 ounces cremini mushrooms sliced
1/2 cup onion chopped
1 teaspoon garlic minced
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Season steak with salt and pepper.
Add steak to skillet in a single layer and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Remove to a plate.
Melt butter in same skillet. Add mushrooms and onions; season with salt and pepper. Cook 5-6 minutes until tender.
Add garlic and cook 30 seconds more. Sprinkle in flour and cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Slowly whisk in beef broth until smooth. Bring to a simmer and cook 2-3 minutes until thickened.
Stir in Worcestershire and soy sauces. Add steak and any juices back to skillet. Cook 1-2 minutes until heated through.
Remove from heat and stir in parsley. Serve immediately over mashed potatoes or noodles.
