a hearty and delicious soup with a rich and tasty broth
This simple, everyday soup has all the flavors of a cheeseburger and is sure to become a family favorite.
° 450 g (1 lb) lean ground beef
° 2 onions, thinly sliced
° 30 ml (2 tbsp.) Olive oil
° 1.25 liters (5 cups) chicken broth
° 1 can of 398 ml (14 oz) diced tomatoes
° 1/2 cup (125 ml) dill pickles, sliced (large pickles)
° 15 ml (1 tbsp.) Ketchup
° 15 ml (1 tbsp.) Dijon mustard
° 15 ml (1 tbsp.) Worcestershire sauce
° 5 ml (1 tsp.) Celery salt
° 3/4 cup (75 g) short macaroni
° 4 hamburger buns
In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, brown the meat and onions in the oil, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon. Add the rest of the ingredients except the macaroni and breads. Mix well. Adduce to a boil and simmer about 16 minutes. Skim as needed.
Add the macaroni. adduce to a boil still and keep inue cooking for 12 minutes. Salt and pepper.
In a ridged pan over high heat, toast the buns on each side. Serve with the soup.
