Homemade German Chocolate Cake

You’ll Need:

1 cup of chocolate chips.
2 cups of pecans.
¾ cup of melted butter.
½ cup of evaporated milk.
1 (14 ounces) bag of caramels.
1 ⅓ cups of water.
⅓ cup of oil.
3 eggs.
1 (18 ounce) box of German chocolate cake.

How to:

First, prepare the cake according to the package directions, pour half of the batter in a 13×9 pan and bake for 15 minutes in a preheated oven to 350°.
Melt the caramels, milk and butter in a double boiler while stirring.
Once the cake is cooled, pour the caramel all over it and sprinkle 1 cup of pecans and chocolate chips on top.
Pour the second half of the batter on top and bake for 20 more minutes.
