1 cup of chocolate chips.
2 cups of pecans.
¾ cup of melted butter.
½ cup of evaporated milk.
1 (14 ounces) bag of caramels.
1 ⅓ cups of water.
⅓ cup of oil.
1 (18 ounce) box of German chocolate cake.
First, prepare the cake according to the package directions, pour half of the batter in a 13×9 pan and bake for 15 minutes in a preheated oven to 350°.
Melt the caramels, milk and butter in a double boiler while stirring.
Once the cake is cooled, pour the caramel all over it and sprinkle 1 cup of pecans and chocolate chips on top.
Pour the second half of the batter on top and bake for 20 more minutes.
Easy, peasy and sweet! This chocolate turtle is very unique, the caramels add a wonderful flavor to the cake. Try it yourself, you won’t regret it!
