HOMEMADE CHICAGO STYLE DEEP DISH PIZZA

TO MAKE WE’LL NEED :

FOR THE DOUGH :

3 cups white flour.

1/2 cup melted butter.

1/2 cup softened butter.

2 tsp granulated sugar.

2 tsp salt.

2/3 cup olive oil.

2 teaspoons instant yeast.

½ cup yellow cornmeal.

1 cup of water.

FOR THE SAUCE :

2 tbsp unsalted butter.

1 small grated onion.

1/2 tsp salt.

1 tsp garlic powder.

1 can crushed tomatoes.

2 tbsp chopped fresh basil.

1 tsp olive oil.

1 tsp black pepper.

A pinch of sugar.

FOR TOPPING:

I used mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
