To prepare this recipe, you will need the following ingredients:
° Corn flour: 1 cup (120 grams)
° All-purpose flour: 1 cup (125 grams) (spoon and flat)
° Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
° Baking soda: 1/2 teaspoon
° Salt: 1/8 teaspoon
° Unsalted Butter: 1/2 cup (115 grams) (melted and slightly cooled)
° Light or dark brown sugar: 1/3 cup (67 g) (packed)
° Honey: 2 tsps
° Egg: 1
° Milk: 1 cup
* How to make it :
1. Set oven temperature to 400°F (204°C) also grease an 8- or 9-inch square baking tray also flour a some; Sit apart .
2. Choose a large bowl and mix the cornstarch, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together. Sit aside. & whisking melted butter, brown sugar, & honey in a bowl TO mixture is totally smooth & thick. Immediately, beat the eggs until combined. Time done, whisking together curd. You’ll need to pour wet ingredients TO the dried ingredients, beat until mixed (no over-mixing).
3. And please pour the mixture into the prepared baking tray, and bake until golden brown on top and cooked through, about 20 minutes. Test with a toothpick. Making sure to let it cool slightly before slicing and serving. At this point, you can serve the cornbread with butter, honey, jam, or whatever you like.
4. Finally, wrap the leftovers tightly and store them at room temperature for up to a week.
